Been a hectic few days in Sainte Anne.
The downtown of Sainte Anne is so quaint! Lots of eateries, stores, and even a nice little grocery. |
Highwind and inQuest on the town wall. Yes, we all need baths. |
So, this happened. A sail boat locked up, but didn't de-mast. You can't see it in the pic but 2 people are dangling off the side with a line to the top of the mast to tilt the vessel. |
After they moored. You can see the "plank" they were out on to tilt the boat. It's little more than a pole. Wild watching them climb back onto the boat. |
We had fondue! I can't remember the last time I'd had the stuff. But the cheese in Canada is far better than the US, so I figured fondue would be to. The entire meal was about 4 hours. |
We took a bus to Montreal. We didn't get to spend a lot of time there, but enough to see some of the old town. And know we'll come back, someday. |
Lots of different architecture in Montreal. |
I suspect you could spend an entire summer here. |
On Saturday there was a wonderful farmer's market in Sainte Anne. We got fresh croissants as well as fruit. We extended our visit, asking politely if we could stay a 3rd night. Frankly, I could have stayed a week, if they'd let us.
