Provincetown to Scituate, ball

After two nights in Provincetown we decided to take advantage of the smooth seas and dash to the main land. Absolutely stunning ride -- cool temps, flat waters, blue skies.

We've been in Scituate before a couple of years ago. In rereading my blog there's a sushi place we liked. Odds are we'll try to go there again.

The Highwind crew will be here for a week or more. They have a lot of traveling to do. We'll stay a couple of nights, then head onto Boston, where we'll spend a few days and provision -- we need a Costco run!

Woke up to a group of seals hanging out near the boat.

This tower was made to commemorate the landing of
the Mayflower pilgrims, who landed here before heading
to Plymouth, their final destination.

Looking out at the top of the tower.

You must walk to the top. Mostly, they have made a spiral
ramp with few steps. It still gets your heart going.

Sunset over the cape.

Pancake flat water for the entire trip to Scituate.
