Where we at

Another BIG update (smaller ones to follow)

The work at Anchorage continues.
They moved the crane today, behind us.
Good time to be leaving the marina.
So, um, yeah... sell the boat.

Didn't happen. We got a solid offer, took her out for a sea trial, but the buyers backed out. As far as we know not for any good reason, but that always leaves a sort of "mark" on the boat.

BACK TO PLAN A

Russ and I got back to Baltimore Wednesday night. We'll spend a week (hopefully not much more than that) getting inQuest ready for a trip down south one last time. The plan is to take her to Florida where we'll put her up for the winter. Come March she'll be put on a big ship and sent to the west coast, Canada to be specific. There we'll get her ready for a summer cruising the west coast, from Seattle to Alaska.

While we can now use the "B" dock gate to get
to the boat, we have to traverse this skinny
walkway. Come winter I think it will be a challenge.
I'm disappointed to be sure. But this will be a change for the better. Mostly since getting to and from the boat will only be a 2 hours flight, not a 6 hour one, with driving as a viable option.

As thing progress it will be back to daily updates.
